Kamaz says IFRS net profit falls 54.6% to 1.6 bln rbl in 2018

MOSCOW, Apr 25 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s largest truck producer Kamaz fell by 54.6% to 1.588 billion rubles in 2018 because of completion of model range expansion and upgrades of facilities for this, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a report on Thursday.

“We have reached our 2018 financial and economic targets despite a difficult situation on the heavy truck market,” said Financial Director Andrei Maximov.

Revenue grew 19% to 187 billion rubles in the period. The company sold 38,382 trucks in 2018 after 38,192 in 2017.
